Remember when Elvis Presley was a 19-year old sensation and appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show viewed by 60 million people? That’s the Young Elvis – the singer who soared to stardom with his music, movies and the phrase that we all remember –“Thank you very much.” Today we experience the man, the music, the legend as the Young Elvis starts his journey to become The King.

The day begins with FREE PARKING and 8:15am BREAKFAST BUFFET at the Center. At 8:45am our COACH BUS (restroom on board) heads for WHITE FENCE FARM in Romeoville, Illinois. Since 1922, this family owned restaurant has grown from a small dining room to a sprawling destination with 12 dining areas, a Petting Zoo, displays of antiques, classic cars, clocks and music boxes. We arrive at 10:45am with time to use the restrooms and enjoy the collections and the countryside.

The doors open for seating at 11:30am for your 4-piece CHICKEN DINNER including Baked Potato, Homemade Chicken Gravy, Corn Fritters, Cottage Cheese, Cole Slaw, Kidney Bean Salad, Pickled Beets, Beverage and the traditional farm dessert Vanilla Ice Cream. The chicken recipe is a secret but we know it’s baked then flash fried for only 3 minutes in vegetable oil which makes it crispy and fresh.

At 1:30pm it’s Showtime. Singer Hugo Colin is the Young Elvis – the skinny kid who could sing like no one else. Hear the early hits of the 1950s like That’s All Right Mama; Blue Suede Shoes; Hound Dog Man; Heartbreak Hotel and Jailhouse Rock. His movies produced hit after hit including Blue Hawaii; Love Me Tender; GI Blues; Stuck On You; Teddy Bear and I Can’t Help Falling in Love With You. And his deep baritone voice made his gospel songs ring with emotion like Rock of Ages; Closer Walk With Thee and Precious Memories. Every show is a little different but the result is the same – you will love Young Elvis.

At 3:45pm we leave for TIM & TOM’S CHEESE SHOP and DAIRY-LAND ANTIQUE MALL in Kenosha. Shop for sausages, cheese, jams, jellies and many Wisconsin food items and sample some of the wide selection of Merkt’s cheeses. Dairyland Antiques Mall has furniture, jewelry, apparel, household goods and collectibles. You might find an Elvis poster or record album or white scarf!

At 5:30pm we leave with TREAT BAG & BEVERAGE (1 each/person) and RAFFLE PRIZES arriving in Milwaukee at 6:15pm. (Compare our trip cost to others. We are cheaper and STILL give you more for your money.)
