Celebrating 50 years of producing some of the best wines in the United States – especially Pinot Noir – Oregon’s Willamette Valley was selected as Wine Spectator’s 2016 Wine Region of the Year. About 500 wineries produce Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Gewurztraminer. The region produces lush grapes tended by families who are passionate about making wine. It’s a place where land and people pair so well together. Taste about 10 wines from the top wineries who handcraft their wines. Information on the wines you taste and many more in the HANDOUTS. Cost includes Bottled Water (1/person), snacks to enjoy before and during the program, coffee and a Cold Buffet (meats/cheeses/fruit/veggies) served around 8:30pm. Taste the wines of people who do things a little bit different with amazing results.
