PINOTS FROM AROUND THE WORLD WINE TASTING & WORKSHOP

June 14 • Thursday, 6:30-9:30pm

Facilitator: Tom Vaughan, CSW

Cost: $25.00

Registration Deadline: June 7

The grape varietal PINOT is one of the most loved in the world. For centuries wine makers have tried to create delicious, crowd-pleasing wines from what is known as the “Heart Break Grape” because it is so delicate and small and difficult to grow. But that doesn’t stop wine makers from trying to make the perfect pinot. Tonight Tom explores the beginnings and the evolution of pinot with Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir from Alsace to Burgundy and then to the New World Pinots from New Zealand, California and Oregon. You will taste about 10 Pinots. Information on these wines and much more in the HANDOUTS. We’ll add Bottled Water (1/person), snacks to enjoy before and during the Program, coffee and a Cold Buffet (meat/cheeses/fruits/ veggies) served around 8:30pm. Come taste what centuries of wine drinkers have enjoyed – PINOT.
