We’re going back to one of our favorite spots

Starved Rock State Park to see the Fall Colors. You won’t forget some of the most beautiful and scenic forests in all their Autumn splendor. Plus, there’s the Starved Rock Lodge built in the 1920s with wood floors, pine furniture, brick fire- places and lots of atmosphere that brings the outdoors inside. Discover all the joys of this great destination that has been “wowing” folks for 90 years.

The day begins with FREE PARKING and 7am BREAKFAST BUFFET at the Center. At 7:30am our COACH BUS (restroom on board) leaves for STARVED ROCK LODGE in Utica, Illinois. At 10:45am we arrive with time to use the restrooms and delight in the beautiful forest surroundings. At 11am we’re seated in the Main Dining Room for our AUTUMN LUNCHEON.

You receive a menu and have a choice of these 8 entrees: 1) Pot Roast “House Specialty” w/mashed potatoes & vegetable; 2) Country Fried Steak w/mashed potatoes & veggie; 3) Fried Cod w/mashed potatoes & veggie; 4) Fettuccine w/choice of Alfredo or Marinara Sauce; 5) Burger With The Works & homemade potato chips; 6) Grilled Chicken Sandwich w/homemade potato chips; 7) Chicken Salad Croissant w/homemade potato chips and 8) Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad. All entrees include hot or iced tea, coffee, lemonade or a soft drink.

After lunch is a 1-HOUR NARRATED TROLLEY TOUR with history and legends of the area and those beautiful Fall Colors. The Trolley takes you to the pier to board the NEW! River Boat – The Eagle I for a cruise to the east end of Starved Rock State Park that can only be seen by water. There’s time for the Visitor’s Center and Gift Shop and then return to the Lodge. Restrooms available throughout the Tour and there is minimal walking.

At 3:30pm we board our Bus and leave the Park by the SCENIC TRAIL so we can enjoy those Fall Colors on the way to DOWNTOWN OTTAWA a delightful array of shops and restaurants for shopping, a quick bite to eat or just strolling and window shopping and enjoying the afternoon. At 4:45pm we leave with TREAT BAG & BEVERAGE (1 each/person) and RAFFLE PRIZES arriving in Milwaukee at 7:45pm. (Compare our prices with other trip providers. We’re less expensive and give you more for your money)
