Experience the sights, sounds, tastes and entertainment of the South Pacific. Like the luaus in Hawaii, you enjoy a variety of unique island dishes such as Kalua pig and Mahi Mahi, sip a cool Mai Tai and relax in a tropical atmosphere reminiscent of the Islands while watching the action packed Echoes of Polynesia Revue Show. The evening begins at 1:30pm with FREE PARKING and a welcoming SNACKS BUFFET at the Center. At 2pm our COACH BUS (restroom on board) leaves for Des Plaines, Illinois and the Tiki Terrace opened in 2003 by brothers Phil, Jim and Scott Zuziak. All 3 are Polynesian drum and dance performers and excel at the Samoan Fire Knife Dance.

At 3:30pm we arrive. The Terrace is a show room with a raised stage centered in the Dining Room so all can see. There  is  a  backdrop  of 12 ft. Easter Island statues, a state-of-the-art sound system, theatrical lighting efects, island thatched roofs, outrigger canoes, Tiki tapa lamps, palm trees and hand- carved tables (done by the brothers). There’s time to enjoy it all and get a drink from the Tiki Bar (not included in trip cost) like a Mai Tai, Pina Colada, faming Lava Flow or Tropical Punch.

DINNER is unbelievable. It starts of with 2 Appetizers: Egg Rolls BORA BORA made from scratch with pork, garlic and fresh vegetables and Taro Chips made of sliced Taro into a chip with homemade pineapple salsa. Order refillable beverages (non-alcoholic) or buy a 2nd drink from the Bar. Then comes Island Tropical SALAD of fresh mixed greens, mandarin oranges, pineapple and crisp chow mein noodles with a Hokulea Sesame Dressing on the side. Give your Waiter your choice of 5 Entrees: 1) Kalua PORK – slow roasted, shredded and juicy just like the cooked pig buried in the pit at Hawaiian luaus with BBQ Sauce on the side; 2) Maui MAHI MAHI – the classic luau fish covered with Asian bread crumbs, lightly fried and topped with homemade Sweet and Sour Sauce; 3) Teriyaki CHICKEN - marinated legs and thighs cooked all day that fall of the bone in a Sweet and Sour Sauce; 4) BEEF Stir Fry– top sirloin thinly sliced combined with fresh broccoli, peppers, baby corn, carrots, snap peas and water chestnuts in a classic Tiki Terrace fry glaze and 5) Roasted PINEAPPLE and PEPPERS – vegetarian delight of pineapple, snap peas, peppers, purple cabbage and sesame seeds in a Sweet and Sour sauce. And for Dessert choose 1) Haupia Cake – House Specialty white cake layered with Haupia (sweet coconut pudding-like cream) topped with whipped frosting and coconut fakes or 2) Chinaman’s Hat – scoop of ice cream on top of a fried won ton covered with strawberry puree. Then enjoy the SHOW Echoes of Polynesia Revue.

Nearly identical to a luau show in Hawaii, lovely wahine and handsome kane perform a variety of dances from the South Pacifc featuring beautiful costumes of Hawaii, Tahiti, Samoa and New Zealand. The MC leads you on a journey through the South Seas with Island stories, comedy, the fierce Haka Chant by Maori warriors, the Hawaiian Wedding Song and Dance, Samoan Fire Knife Dance and much more.

At 7pm our BUS leaves with TREAT BAG + BEVERAGE and RAFFLE PRIZES arriving in Milwaukee at 8:30pm. (This is an exclusive trip designed by the Tiki Terrace owners for the BVCC. Last year we went for the 1st time and we sold out with a large Waiting List. Don’t delay, register early.)
