Parents are their child’s first teachers. We offer programs that support parents in this role and in their parenting. With our fun activities, families can play & learn together; socialize with other families in the community; develop support networks and resources; and prepare their child for school.

Does your child beg you to cook? Does your child ask to help you in the kitchen, but you’re a little hesitant? Or does your child a little picky and need to expand their horizons? Then this is a class designed just for your family. Each week you and your child will prepare simple recipes and have the opportunity to eat what you make either here or at home. The recipe of the day is made for your family, so you customize it to your family and watch your child try new things because they helped make it! Even better you and your child will enjoy the fun of cooking together and you don’t have to dirty your kitchen to do it! As an added bonus, a literacy element is added to each class to encourage reading and to relate fun children’s stories to the food they are helping to prepare. So join us for a fun morning of cooking, then after cooking stay and play a short while before heading home! There’s limited space, so register early! *If your family has dietary restrictions i.e. food allergies, cultural sensitivities, etc. please contact the Center to discuss exact recipes prior to registration.

Hippity, hoppity. Discover what the Easter Bunny left at our Center for your family! Join us for a simple family friendly brunch. After brunch, your family will enjoy our Easter Egg hunt to find eggs filled with goodies. Of course what would a family party at the Center be without our popular Knock-Knock doors? Your child will have a great time knocking at each door to add to their bag of goodies.
All families will have the opportunity to work on an art project and participate in additional activities. And of course who could forget the Easter Bunny? Our bunny will be hopping in to make a special visit after brunch. Be sure to bring cameras so you can get a picture of your child with this magical friend. We look forward to your visit.
