FOOD PANTRY HOURS

Tuesdays: 4:00pm-6:00pm

Wednesdays: 4:00pm-6:00pm

Fridays: 1:30pm-4:00pm

Bay View Community Center’s Emergency Food Pantry serves those living in 53207, 53215, 53221, and 53235.

We strive to improve food security with our Emergency Food Pantry and Fresh Food Access Initiatives.

Food insecurity is a condition that leads to hunger, often as a result of poverty, unemployment, chronic health conditions, racial discrimination, etc. Bay View Community Center does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, ability, or national origin. We want to help serve as many people in the community as possible.

When you arrive:

1. Park safely and make your way into our building.

2. A volunteer will hand you a number when you arrive; take a seat and wait until your number is called.

3. We’ll ask for your name and address – Please have a form of identification for you and everyone in your household as well as a proof of residence like a recent piece of mail.

4. After we take down your information and your cold room requests, you will be directed to a room where you’ll be able to shop.

5. Shop and grab food that will be best for you.

6. Grab your cold room items on your way out.

7. If you need help taking your groceries to your car, one of our volunteers will assist you.
